Do you provide service year round?
Yes! Scoops provides dog waste removal services year-round. If there’s snow on the ground, we can scoop most of the waste that accumulates.
Do you ensure my dogs safety?
The safety of our clients and their dogs is a top priority. To ensure all dogs are safe, we clean all our equipment and shoes between each yard with a kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent the spread of germs/viruses. We also take gate pictures when we are done cleaning so you know your pets won’t get out of the yard, and we ensure all our employees are background checked.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No contracts! You can start, pause, and cancel your subscription at any time by updating your customer portal or calling our office.
How do you dispose of dog waste?
Proper disposal is essential to environmental safety as dog poop is considered a hazardous material. We will double bag the waste (in scented bags) and place it in each customer’s trash can or neatly on the side of their house.
We can take the waste off your property and properly dispose of it with Waste Management for a small fee.
How much does a pro pooper scooper cost?
Scoops has pooper scooper service plans starting as low as $60 per month. However, pricing is based on the size of the yard, service frequency, and number of dogs. How often should I get my yard serviced?
For optimal cleanliness, we recommend scheduling our pet waste removal services on a weekly basis. You can switch to one of our other flexible plans as needed.
Is there an extra charge for the first time?
There is generally a first time clean-up fee if there has been several weeks of accumulation in your yard on our first visit.
Can I request a specific day?
Yes, you can request a specific cleanup day. Not every cleanup day will be available in your area, but we can generally offer 2-3 options to best fit your schedule.
Do you provide arrival times?
No, we don’t provide arrival times for our pooper scooper services. While we will do our best to accommodate your schedule, we optimize our routes for drive time at midnight the day before to help keep costs low.
Can my dog be in the yard during cleaning?
Yes, we’re glad to clean with your pups! We simply ask that if your dog has shown signs of aggression, you leave them inside during your cleaning. Ensuring the safety of our team is a top priority. If your dog is aggressive towards our team, you will be asked to put them inside or be removed from our route.
Do you clean the entire yard?
Scoops will clean any areas of your property that have dog waste issues, including front, back, and side yards, flower beds, dog runs, etc. There will be an extra cost for large yards or yards with difficult terrain, etc.
Do you offer commercial services?
Yes, we offer pet waste removal services for commercial properties, including apartment complexes, dog parks, and business facilities. Contact us for a customized quote.
Am I able to get an extra cleanup?
If you need an extra dog waste cleanup outside of your regular schedule, simply contact us, and we’ll arrange a convenient time to visit your property and ensure your yard is clean for whatever you’re planning!
